Inspirity Health Partners Names Russell VanTyle Chief Experience Officer

Leadership promotion reflects Inspirity’s continued growth and commitment to an exceptional member experience

Inspirity Health partners (IHP) is pleased to announce the promotion of Russell VanTyle, MBA, CMRP, to Chief Experience Officer (CXO), recognizing his leadership contributions to Inspirity’s growth, member experience, and market success.

VanTyle has played an integral role in IHP development from the beginning. Joining the organization on day one of its first member kickoff, he has helped guide IHP from an early-stage program into a growing healthcare supply chain partner serving multiple health system members across the country.

Through his leadership of sales initiatives and close involvement throughout the member journey, VanTyle has helped expand IHP membership while building a strong pipeline for future growth. Just as importantly, he has helped establish the member-centered approach that defines the Inspirity experience.

In his role as Chief Experience Officer, VanTyle will continue to oversee the member journey from initial engagement through long-term operational success, helping ensure each organization receives the high-touch partnership and strategic guidance that have become hallmarks of the IHP model. He will also continue serving as Executive Sponsor for Inspirity’s largest member organization.

“Russ has played a pivotal role in both the sales growth and operational success of Inspirity,” said Bruce Mairose, Executive Vice President of Inspirity Health Partners and Division Chair of Sourcing and Networks at Mayo Clinic Supply Chain. “His leadership, sales process acumen, and member-first mindset have helped shape a unique offering that brings provider-led supply chain excellence to healthcare organizations seeking transformative results. As we continue to grow, Russ’s vision and commitment to our members will be invaluable.”

For VanTyle, the promotion represents an opportunity to build on a culture that has been central to Inspirity’s success.

“The accomplishment I am most proud of is helping create and reinforce a member-centered culture. Inspirity delivers exceptional value because we focus first on understanding each member organization’s unique challenges and opportunities. The success we’ve achieved comes from partnering with healthcare leaders to strengthen their supply chains, support their teams, and create lasting operational improvements. That commitment begins with the first conversation and continues throughout the entire member relationship.”

VanTyle brings more than 18 years of healthcare supply chain, client executive, and sales leadership experience to the role. Prior to joining Inspirity, he spent nearly two decades with Vizient and MedAssets, helping health systems achieve significant financial and operational improvements. Throughout his career, he has received numerous professional recognitions, including Northeast Client Executive of the Year and multiple President’s Club awards.

VanTyle holds an MBA from St. John Fisher University and a bachelor’s degree from Providence College and is a Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP). He also serves as Treasurer of the Brantling Ski Race Association.

As Inspirity continues to grow, VanTyle’s expanded leadership role reinforces the organization’s commitment to putting the member experience at the center of its approach— from the first conversation through sustained operational success.

Efficiency at Scale: Inspirity Health Partners Recognized by GHX for Supply Chain Excellence

Inspirity Health Partners (IHP) has been recognized with the GHX Supply Chains of Distinction Award, joining leading healthcare organizations nationwide in delivering best-in-class supply chain performance. The recognition underscores IHP’s commitment to helping providers achieve greater efficiency, accuracy, and automation across the procure-to-pay process.

By partnering with GHX, a trusted healthcare technology leader, IHP enables suppliers and providers to streamline operations through the GHX Exchange. With intuitive tools like the Perfect Order Dashboard, IHP gains real-time visibility into performance and actionable insights to drive continuous improvement. The result is a simpler, more efficient supply chain—reducing administrative burden while improving transaction accuracy and speed.

“Being recognized by GHX is a testament to the dedication and high standards our procurement team upholds at Inspirity,” said Scott Wilde, P2P Principal, IHP. “By harnessing the power of the Exchange, we’ve significantly reduced friction in the procure-to-pay process—transforming tasks that once took hours into seamless, highly accurate transactions.”

The award is driven by GHX’s “perfect order” metrics, which recognize organizations achieving highly automated, touchless transactions from purchase through payment. IHP’s strong performance reflects its ability to minimize common errors—such as pricing or quantity discrepancies—resulting in cleaner transactions and more reliable outcomes for its provider partners.

Importantly, IHP’s approach allows providers to invest in supply chain performance without sacrificing independence. By leveraging scalable technology and data-driven insights, organizations can enhance efficiency while maintaining control of their operations—an increasingly critical advantage in today’s healthcare environment.

“Many organizations invest in technology, but we pair that with strong master data management,” said Ryan Tye, Technology Principal, IHP. “The visibility we gain through the GHX Exchange and PO dashboard demonstrates how well pricing and item data are maintained—and that’s where the real value lies.”

To qualify for the award, organizations must demonstrate sustained performance on the GHX Exchange, including four full quarters of activity and a monthly average of at least 200 purchase orders—highlighting both consistency and operational scale.
